Loosing teeth

Sidney has had two VERY wiggly bottom teeth for quite a while now. I was actually really sad because I thought for SURE she would lose them while Allen and I were in Hawaii. But no, she did not touch those teeth and didn't want anyone else touching them either!
I kept telling her if she sneezed they were going to fly out of her mouth :)
Just to tell you how lose they really were, she lost her first one in her YOGART!
She was so excited for the first one and the second one only made it a couple of days longer.
She's growing up!

Funny Rylee and a VERY patient Oliver

A few days ago Rylee and Oliver were playing. They are great friends. I keep thinking Ollie will want to run away from her one day, but he just runs right to her every time. The are cute buddies, she has nicknamed him "Ollie pop".
So I look over and see Rylee on top of Ollie. This wasn't completely alarming since she is often rolling around with him. But I decided to look closer and saw this.....

So I asked her what she was doing. She said she was checking Ollie's teeth to make sure they were ok. Wow, she sure was! Ollie just laid there. He is so good with her! Then she went back to rolling on him :)

My sister always laughs at me when we are on the phone because it seems like I am constantly reminding Rylee to be nice to Ollie. Don't sit on him, try not to poke his eye, give him his food back, I don't think he can breath, don't drive the big toy truck over Ollie, etc......
Poor Ollie gets a lot of Rylee's attention while the kids are at school, but she sure does love him!

We have to keep our eye on this girl! This is what she came up with while I was folding laundry!

Playing swords with Porter and Sidney. I am not sure what the slippers on her hands are for!

She makes us laugh every day!

Porters Solar System Presentation

Porter's class has been studying the solar system. They were each given a part of the solar system to study specifically. Porter was given the "Astroid Belt". It has become a very familar topic around our house. Today when we walked into Porter's class and Rylee saw his display and said, "look Mom it's the Astroid Belt", in her cute little 2 year old voice.
Porter researched, wrote a report, made a visual aid, and gave a presentation. He had worked hard and did a really great job.
This is the beginning part of his presentation. After he was done he told me he had been very nervous, but had really enjoyed it. I think his favorite part was wearing his teachers microphone around his neck!
If you pause the music on the right hand side you can hear him better.

Soccer Star

Sidney just finished up soccer with some of her good friends. She started out a little timid, so we went straight to bribery and told her if she kicked the ball at least 10 times in the game that we would take her out for ice cream after. Guess what, it totally worked! She was totally focused on getting some ice cream.

By the last game she had really gained some confidence and was quite the little soccer player. We are SO not above bribery!

She had so much fun with her friends and was really proud of herself!
Good job Sidney!
