Fun with Grandpa!

We had a fun day at my Mom and Dad's.  Allen and my Dad took Porter and Sidney to do some "fun stuff"!
Those are explosives strapped to the logs.
And then they would shoot them and blow them up :)

Shooting cans.

This video really speaks for itself!

That is one dirty girl!  She had so much fun hanging out with the boys!

Trip to the Zoo

We took advantage of the nice weather and met my mom, dad, and sister at the zoo!  So much fun :)

As you can see we love the carousel!
I don't have a picture of Jaxon, he slept the whole time wrapped up in the moby wrap, snuggled to mom :)

Jaxon's Blessing day

This was a big day for our little man.
Allen gave him a beautiful blessing in Church today.
I can't believe he is already 7 weeks old!
Allen's parents were able to be here and spend the weekend.  We had so much fun with them!
And my Mom and Dad, and Rachel, Paul, and Kaden came too.
We also had many friends in our ward and from other wards that were there and helped to make this such a special day for our family.
Just like Porter, he was blessed in my brother, Stuart's, blessing outfit.

This is the VERY yummy peanut butter cup cake that Allen's mom and I made.

Allen's mom and dad with the kids.
My mom and dad with all of their grandkids.

The kids LOVED having Grandma and Grandpa Welch here.  They made up this game called "Hatchet man" in the basement.  It was literally chasing each other around with nerf hatchets.  They thought it was the funnest game ever!  Grandpa was a very, VERY good sport and played with them.

It got a little crazy down there!
This is one of my favorite pictures.  We don't get to see Allen's mom and dad as much as we would like to.  They are so good to come and visit and really soak up the kids.  They play with them, talk with them, play games, sit with them, snuggle them, read books, and always make the most of the time that they are here.  This picture of Jax looking up at Grandma just melts my heart!  They are both such great examples of faith and slowing down to enjoy the little things.  We all love when they come and we are never ready for them to go home!
Thank you to all of our family and friends that made this day and weekend so special!
