Playing a game of Fibber

Sidney has been asking to cut her hair short for a while now, I had put it off as long as I could.

After Rylee had an incident with trimming her own hair at school, and getting in big trouble and getting an impromptu shorter hair cut that she did not want…….

We decided to really play up Sidney's special day to go and get her hair cut.  I have always cut everyone's hair, so it was a big deal to go somewhere (even if it was a friends' kitchen!).

Fun in the mountains

We had a great time in Breckenridge with some friends for the weekend!

There was swimming, gondola rides, playing in the snow, movies, good food, games, skiing, and lots of kids!!

Sadly, Allen got sick the last night and was such a trooper for the pack up and head home.  We are so glad that he is feeling better and so grateful for such good memories!!

Jax turns 2!

He caught on to the opening the presents thing and thought that was pretty fun.

He loved his cupcake and candle.

Honestly what this boy really loves is having everyone together and happy.  He is not deprived of attention on any given day, he is still spoiled rotten by every single one of us, but he loves seeing everyone with happy, smiling faces.

And we all sure do love his.

School days

I told Jax that we were going to the school to work on folders.  He went and grabbed his backpack so he would be ready for school too :)

He is my little buddy and as much as he would love to go to school I am so glad that he is home with me for a few more years!  I just might not let him go then either.

There was a "Chemical incident" at the girls' school today.  I got the automated phone message and hurried to the school to pick them up.  Needless to say there was a lot of traffic to get into the school and a long line of parents waiting to check out and pick up their kids.  An hour and a half and a lot of stress later and I was so glad to give them big hugs and have them back safe.

 Nothing a little play date with friends, McDonalds, and an afternoon movie won't fix.
