A little catch up....

This is the obstacle course that Jax set up with all of the pillows while I was in the shower.  He would climb all the way across without touching the carpet :)

Way too long of a day at Porter's wrestling tournament, this is at hour 5 when we tied all of Jaxon's maze games to him to occupy him for a few more minutes.

But it was worth it, Porter won district champ!!

Zoo field trip

I was able to spend a whole day with cute Sidney at her field trip to the Cheyenne Mountain Zoo.

Rachel was awesome and had Jax over to play for the day.

It was a long 1 1/2 hour bus ride, but it was worth it!

It was a little chilly, but could have been worse weather....why are we going to the zoo in November!?!

I didn't loose anyone this time.....but one of the cute girls in our group had an allergic reaction to the giraffes that we fed.  She swelled up with hives everywhere.  A little benadryl and keeping a close eye on her for awhile and we were back in business.

I sure love this girl and I am so grateful that we got to spend the day together.

And our sweet friend, Ashley Swapp, did not disappoint.

There is something so beautiful about capturing moments in time as our kids are getting older. I want to remember everything about each stage.

5th grade program

Sidney did a great job at her 5th grade music program!

She was very excited for her trio part.

Grandma & Grandpa Welch visit

Along with Halloween we had a bunch more fun with Grandma and Grandpa Welch while they were here.  We took the train to the top of Pikes Peak.  It was a fun and very scenic ride.

A storm blew in at the top of the peak, so we don't have any pictures.  I was holding onto Jax so he wouldn't blow away and I don't think the girls even opened their eyes while we were outside!  It was a little intense.

But the visitors center was fun.  We had a snack and headed back to the train just as they were evacuating every one from the peak because of the storm!

We got cleaned up and the kids settled with dinner and a movie at home and we went to Mercantile, where my brother works, for a nice dinner downtown.

It was delicious!!

We had to take a picture of everything, because it was so awesome.

And it is always a treat to see Stuart :)

We had a great time and we can't wait till Grandma and Grandpa come back!
