Thanksgiving

We had a great Thanksgiving!  The kids helped me make these oreo turkeys.

We ate, talked, played, watched movies, and my Mom and I went on our annual Black Friday shopping adventure :)

A great holiday with family and friends.

What have the kids been up to?

We made sure to get our permits to cut down our Christmas tree again this year.

Our day at the gift show with Grandma and Grandpa.

Porter's football game.  We have had fun cheering them on this season.  He worked and played so hard all season. I specifically wanted to remember this picture of his last game.  He is cheering on his team from the sidelines.  We have a family rule of no sports with grades below an A or B. We had to stick to our guns and he wan't able to play in his last game.  It was a hard thing for him, and Allen and I.  I hope this will be a learning moment and help to motivate him to work hard in school.

Christmas pictures

We set out to take some pictures for our Christmas card.

It turned out to be a very windy day!  So we changed locations and tried to find somewhere that wasn't out in the open.

I love this picture!  Jaxon was done taking pictures and wanted nothing more to do with it.

The little boys helped hand out candy to the trick-or-treaters, so everyone got two candies!

My Dad took it up a notch this year with decorations.

He had a special place in the garage with a video projector…..

The spooky images on the garage wall.  When you were in the garage and positioned just right my Dad would push the button and the pictures would turn into zombies and jump out at you.

It was intense!

Rylee has been a very focused little soccer player lately and we have had to pay up on our "doughnut for a goal" incentive!
